Abstrakt

Objektově-relační wrapper rozšiřující možnosti předchozí knihovny GEN.LIB.
Tento projekt je zaměřen na problematiku perzistence objektů jazyka C++ v relačních databázích.
Obsahuje návrh transparentního rozhraní včetně implementace knihovny optimalizované pro současné databáze
kompatibilní s normou SQL-92 Entry Level.
Navržený dotazovací jazyk - objektová algebra - kombinuje operace relační algebry s objektovým modelem.
Ačkoli bylo hlavním cílem ukládání C++ objektů v relační databázi a manipulace s nimi,
navržená a implementovaná knihovna umožňuje rovněž jednotný přístup k relačním datům prostřednictvím C++ objektů.

Abstract
|
Object-relational wrapper extends capabilities of previous GEN.LIB library.
This project is concerned on the aspects of persistent data storage of C++ objects in the relational databases.
It introduces design of transparent interface and implementation of the library optimised for currently available
SQL-92 Entry Level compliant databases, thus using classical database relations as the storage medium.
Proposed query language - object algebra - combines operations of relational algebra with used object model.
Although the main goal of the thesis storing of and manipulation with C++ objects with respect to the portability,
designed object library allows uniform access also to legacy relational data through C++ objects.
